Visitation: 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23rd at the funeral home

Gregory S. Hughes, 47 years of N7253 Forest Road passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 from11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. All are encouraged to join his family for a time of reflection. The sharing of memories will begin at 1:00 p.m. also at the Koepsell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in the town of Beaver Dam.

Gregory Scott was born the son of Harold J. and May H. (Seeger) Hughes Sr. on July 28, 1962 in Milwaukee. He was married to Brenda Austin on July 1, 1989 at Astico Park.

Greg had been employed as an over the road trucker for over 25 years and most recently had been with Pine Hill Trucking of Beaver Dam. Greg enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife, Brenda, sitting with his faithful companion, Zeus and spending time with his family and many friends. Greg also enjoyed his search for the perfect mopar.

Greg is survived by his wife, Brenda and his children: Shawn McConochie of Fall River, Kendra Hughes and Kyle Hughes both of Beaver Dam; his sisters: Viola (Daniel) Vujnovich of Waupun, Dianna Hughes of Beaver Dam and Patricia (Alfredo) Torres of Beaver Dam; his brother, Harold J. (Patricia) Hughes Jr. of Milwaukee and his great nephew, Aaron Brewer of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Jeffery Hodgkins and a niece, Stacy McAliley.
